Bonneville County Horse Clinic

Time: 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

Bonneville County is holding a horse clinic on April 23rd beginning at 9:00 A.M. This clinic will provide a chance for youth to try different styles of horsemanship. Please come have fun and join us! This is an observation clinic and all horses will be provided. The main focus of this clinic is to demonstrate the four disciplines of our horse program. In order for a 4-H youth to be able to receive the Equitation Award they must participate in all of the disciplines for one year. No registration is necessary just come and get ready to learn.

We will have a Veterinarian speak about a horse topic of their choosing

A Working Ranch Horse Demonstration

A Driving Demonstration

Then 4-H orientation topics from members from each club and we will take measurements to order helmets

If you are interested in learning about the Bonneville County's 4-H horse program this will be a fantastic opportunity. Anyone 4-H ages 8-18 is encouraged to come and check it out!

Teen Conference

This conference is for teens grades 8-12 and will be June 27-30 this year in Moscow, Idaho. We will post more info as it becomes available. Scholarships will be available.

Magnetic Chalkboards Day Camp

Magnetic Chalkboards Day Camp

Ages: 8-18, Limit 20 participants
 
From: 9:00 A.M. 3:00 P.M. 
Cost: $10.00
 
Cloverbuds (ages 5-7) welcome if parent accompanies them for the entire time
Please bring a sack lunch
Have fun creating a cookie sheet chalkboard and handmade magnets. All are welcome! Let your imagination run wild!


 
We kept the paperwork from when this camp was originally scheduled in February, and will call to make sure those who signed up previously would still like to attend.
 
Youth must be registered for the current 4-H year. If you have not registered for this year go to:Idaho.4honline.com and create an account. Fee for registration is $15.00.
 If youth participated in 4-H last year do not make a new account. If you cannot remember the password or email please call the Extension office and we can assist you, 208-529-1390.

Brand Inspector Meeting

A brand inspector has been invited to come talk to the horse clubs as well as any youth doing beef projects on March 16th.
The meeting will be at the Extension office and
will be from 6-8 P.M.
 
There will be a small potluck from 6-7 and then the brand inspector would start speaking at 7.

If this is your first year in 4-H then you will make a new profile.
If you were in 4-H last year you should already have a profile. Do not make a new one if you were in 4-H last year. If you do not remember your password you can hit the forgot password button and it will send you a new temporary password so you can get into your account.
 
You will need to come into the Extension office to pay your registration fee for the year. Cost is $15.00 and we can accept cash or check.
