Shooting Sports Informational Meeting Feb. 9th

We are getting the shooting sports program up and going for this year! Please tell any interested youth to come!

Shooting Sports Informational Meeting on Thursday, February 9th at 6:00 P.M. in the Jack Hamilton Building.

Parents and youth please attend. We will be going over the different disciplines that will be offered this 4-H year.

The Meeting should last about an hour. Hope to see you there!

 

Survival Day Camp Feb. 18

Come join us for a fun filled day of Survival Skills!
We will be making a survival kit, emergency candles and cooking fun foods outdoors!

Ages: 8-18, Cloverbuds (ages 5-7) are welcome if a parent accompanies them the whole time.

Archery is cancelled today 1/25/17

Due to the weather the Archery Club will not meet today Wednesday Jan. 25th.

They do plan on meeting next week, weather permitting.

 

 

Valentine Gift Basket Fundraiser

 

 

Wondering what to get for your significant other, friends, or family for Valentine's Day? Come visit the Extension office in Bonneville County and pick up an adorable gift basket full of goodies which includes: 4 bath bombs, 3 lotion bars, 1 jar of body butter, 1 bath scrubbie, and a chocolate scented bear!

Cost is $15.00 per basket.
Office Hours are Monday through Friday 8-5 P.M.
Baskets will be available until Valentine's Day February 14th.

Proceeds benefit the Bonneville County 4-H program and provide scholarships for our 4-H youth to attend camps, conferences, and other great opportunities. If you have questions call us at 529-1390.

Have a fun and pampering day as you learn how to make your own fizzing bath balms and lotion bars!

Archery Club beginning Jan. 4th

 

 

Get Ready for fun! Archery is starting in January!

 

The Archery club will begin meeting on January 4th.

Archery Club will meet on Wednesdays from 4:00- 5:30 P.M.

 

Club meetings will take place at Archery Idaho located at

1363 Northgate Mile, Idaho Falls, ID 83401.

Bow rentals are available at Archery Idaho.

There is a $5.00 fee every class. (This covers rentals of equipment as well as location)

 

4-H requires all shooters to wear an arm guard while shooting and finger tabs or a hand glove.

 

This club is for ages 8-18.

 

Youth must be enrolled in 4-H to participate, there is a $20.00 registration fee for archery. To enroll go to Idaho.4honline.com Please call if you have any questions 529-1390. When registering for a club select the Flaming Arrows club on 4-H online.

If you are looking for a Christmas gift, Bonneville County 4-H can help you out! Come pick up a Christmas morning basket filled with 2 lbs of sausage, pancake mix and buttermilk syrup from the Prepared Pantry, and fresh oranges. Proceeds support the Bonneville County 4-H program. Dog Club Tonight 12/5/16

Just a reminder the dog club Lotsa Pawsibilities will be having their first dog meeting with animals tonight in the Jack Hamilton Building

 We will be closed Friday for Veteran's Day. Office hours tomorrow are 8 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Lotsa Pawsibilities Dog Club Information Meeting

The Lotsa Pawsibilities Dog Club will be holding an informational meeting on Nov. 7 at 6:00 P.M. in the Jack Hamilton Building. They will be discussing the plan for this 4-H year and are excited to add new members to their dog club. Parents and kids please come but do not bring your dogs to this informational meeting.

Phones not working

FYI, The County updated their phone system and all calls to our office are being sent to the main county line with no choice for our office. The County has been made aware of this problem and they are working on it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sewing Meeting Oct. 20

There will be an information sewing meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6:00 P.M. in the Jack Hamilton Building.

 

We will be discussing new sewing projects for this year as well as any supplies needed, and meeting times.
