Demonstration Sign Ups

 
Come into the office and sign up to do a Demonstration on July 16th.
 
All rules and procedures are printed in the Fair book. Cost is $5 and will be returned at completion of the demonstration.
 
All awards consider demonstrations in point calculation. July 13th is the deadline to sign up this year.
 
Also, there will not be any Demos during fair week this year. If you have questions please call
529-1390.

Snack Attack Camp

Ages: attending 4th to 8th grade in the fall
Come enjoy an exciting youth food fun-filled day camp this summer! Cool off with a yummy orange banana frosty and frozen berry parfaits! We will play active games and learn fun cooking skills! There is a take home cookbook to share with your family and friends.
There will be a short 10 minute presentation for parents from the youth and instructor about all that was learned during this fun week! There will be a gift bag for those who attend!

Final Ethics Meeting

Just a reminder the last ethics meeting will be this Tuesday, June 23rd from 7-8 P.M. at the Extension office. Ethics training is required for all new livestock 4-H'ers. You must attend one Ethics meeting in order to sell your market animal project at the 4-H Auction during fair week.

4-H Shooting Sports Club begins Thursday June 25th

         We are excited to offer 4-H Shooting Sports!!!


Meetings will be held at the Extension Office on Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:30 P.M.

Ages 8-18

Limit of 30 Participants.

Summer Session Fee: $10.00

First meeting will be June 25th

There will be ear and eye protection and safety lessons provided.
Participants will be using airguns and air pistols during these meetings.
All airguns and ammunition are
provided.

4-H Healthy Food Families


Date: June 22-25

Time: 9:00 A.M. to Noon

Cost: $5.00

Ages: 4th Grade and Up

SIGN UP BY JUNE 18TH
 

Your child is invited to an exciting youth program this summer! Please join Eat Smart Idaho for the 4-H Healthy Food Families day camps. Each day your school aged child will play active games, prepare and try a healthy recipe, and learn healthy nutrition habits they can keep for life.

This program is sponsored in part through a ConAgra grant and at the end of the classes children in 4th grade and up will be provided the ingredients from one of the healthy recipes they prepared for you to make at home with your family.

You will also be invited to a Family and Community Event a couple of times

during the classes.

URBAN CAMPOUT


Bonneville County 4-H Urban Campout
Date: June 26-27 from 12P.M. to 12P.M.

Cost: $25 per child

Ages: 8-12

Location: Bonneville County Fairgrounds

Sign up in our office by June 22

 

Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, pajamas, and change of clothes.
